2009
- December - The Skillman Foundation $500 micro-grant recipient
making a difference with diapers™
2010
- December - Founder Marybeth Levine honored as a "Local Hero" by Bank of America's Charitable Foundation, which includes a $5,000 grant for the Detroit Area Diaper Bank
- October - The Detroit Area Diaper Bank receives a Partner in Progress Award from the Wayne Metro Community Action Agency for "outstanding support of Wayne Metro's clients in need of diapers"
- October - The Detroit Area Diaper Bank is one of only 50 charities statewide selected to receive a grant from
Art Van Furniture's Million Dollar Charity Challenge
- September - The Detroit Area Diaper Bank is a selected charity to participate in the 2010 Ann Arbor Give Camp
- June - The Senior Advisory Council of Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan recognizes Executive Director Marybeth
Levine with an honorable mention from among this year's Claude Pepper Award nominees for service to

- April - Executive Director Marybeth Levine named "Child Advocate of the Year" by Child's Hope's Board of Directors
- February - The Detroit Area Diaper Bank is a 1st round Pepsi "Refresh Everything" $5,000 Grant Winner
- January - The Detroit Area Diaper Bank is awarded a Google AdWords Grant and is selected to participate in the 'AdWords in the Curriculum' program at the University of Michigan

2011
- December - Walmart selects the Detroit Area Diaper Bank as one of 17 nonprofits making children's futures brighter and provides a grant of $5,000 on the 2nd day of its 12 Days of Holiday Giving
- November - Huggies donates 250,000 diapers to the Detroit Area Diaper Bank during its 12-city, cross-country "12 Days of Thanks" tour. Two weeks later, they granted DADB an additional 182,000 diapers
- August - MetroWest Chapter of Credit Unions awards the Diaper Bank a $500 grant
- June - Community Financial Credit Union grants $1,060 to The Detroit Area Diaper Bank as part of its "Summer of Sharing"
program
- June - As a 2010 recipient, DADB receives a follow-up $1,000 grant from Art Van Furniture's Million Dollar Charity Challenge
- June - The Detroit Area Diaper Bank is selected to participate in Publicom's 2011 Pro Bono Publico! event
- April - Founder Marybeth Levine receives the 2011 Community Achiever Award from Canton Township
- March - The Detroit Area Diaper Bank receives a $1,000 grant from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation
